woodside Priory
We are grateful for the opportunity to be part of Priory's Summer Enrichment Seminars, where we will be leading an exciting workshop on roller coaster building challenges. Students learned physics concepts as they constructed thrilling roller coasters and dove into the principles of engineering design as they built catapults. We enjoyed the chance to share our knowledge and engage with curious students in this joyful environment.

Mobilize Love
Mobilize Love is a Christian nonprofit organization that literally shows up and give hope to the underprivileged by deploying a fleet of trucks directly to where kids and families are. We had the opportunity to host a science booth called Eco Explorers at their annual Love the City event, a collaborative outreach where nonprofits, corporations, and churches come together to serve the people in the city. Focusing on the theme of environmental sustainability, we showed the children of SF several science demonstrations and hands-on projects that used recycled materials, including: cardboard speakers, popsicle stick catapults, and soda can plant holders. Along with 215 volunteers from 13 churches and 8 nonprofits, we were able to expose the wonders of science to 100+ kids.
